Famous American Art Restorer Passes
Barbara Enders - Noted Art Restorer
Barbara Enders, Artist, Art Teacher, Art Restorer; and my mentor, friend and critic, passed away of Feb. 5th, 2009 in Hendersonville, N.C. In addition to restoring art for the Smithsonian Institute (including a Rembrandt) Barb Enders was a friend and mentor to many of us in the art league over the years. She had been a member for over twenty years; all of those years were active and productive. She served as our president, guest artist chairman and taught workshops. Two years ago she won the Kay Preston award for service. She also served on the board of the Arts Council of Henderson County.
A full tribute from another of her friends can be found here.
