Welcome to my artworks.  All of the works shown are matted and framed for presentation purposes.  These paintings are for sale on my commercial site .  If you click on the title of a painting (below) - you will be taken to a large picture of that painting and you will find all of the information about size, matting, framing, and how to acquire that particular work (or whether the painting has been sold.)

Covered Bridge - Little River, NC - USA

This painting is from a photo and my memory.  I have visited this location many times and have photographed it several times.  This is a watercolor painting - you can see it on my website by clicking on the title below the picture.  The techniques used to get the great background is one I learned from a number of local and national artists at their workshops.  These techniques involve the use of tissue paper, saran wrap, aluminum foil, bubble wrap,  and other materials that produce textural effects when pressed upon  the wet pigment.  The painting matted and framed is 22×28inches.  Please stop by my site and look at my collection of paintings of all sizes and media.

There are times when abstraction is the order of the day.  This 8×10 inch (framed) is an example of mixed media (acrylic under painting and watercolor on top.)  You will find a number of surprises, where instead of painting in - I took color out to get the figure, or bird, etc.

The Lone Dancer - 11 x 14 - article of Feb 5th 2009 highlights this expressive painting.  In every painting, I try to put a “little surprise” usually hidden from view, but can be found.
